Workshops are scheduled by request
“Creative Living” Circle
This workshop is an opportunity to develop undiscovered aspects of yourself—for instance, a talent you haven’t used in years, a project you want to launch, or a dream you want to explore. Creative Living Circle will provide the time and support you need to nurture yourself and rekindle the passion needed to capture your dreams. You will explore your personal potential and participate in designing a Creative Living Plan for growth, change, and personal renewal.
The Alchemy Behind Compassionate Self-Care using Expressive Arts
An experiential workshop offering expressive arts as a means to explore compassionate self-care. Mindfulness, art-making, movement, sound, and writing will be offered as a process to garner an understanding of ways to cultivate greater self-compassion. Participants will explore aspirations, emotions, and somatic awareness to develop a personal plan for healing and self-care. No artistic experience needed.
“Conscious Living” Circle
This small group workshop uses expressive arts to explore one’s inner journey. The process is designed to strengthen your relationship with yourself and to create a life that is more conscious, compassionate, and meaningful. The text is The Untethered Soul, by Michael Singer.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness approach and practices are offered in a coaching process for an individual, or as an experiential workshop for a team. Note: The preferred model for a team is five 2.5-hour long sessions.
The mindfulness experiential process is designed to bring intention and awareness to one’s work-life by understanding the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Mindfulness practices will be used to enhance mental and physical health and overall well-being. Participants will learn mindfulness techniques that enhance the well-being of individuals and teams.
Team-Building: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
This interactive workshop is offered in a 4- 8 hour format. Each participant receives individual coaching feedback prior to the team workshop.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an assessment tool used with individuals and organizations to develop understanding of one’s self, co-workers, clients, and stakeholders. When used with a group, the MBTI helps a team to understand and leverage the natural work style preferences and talents of all team members. The MBTI assessment identifies 16 different temperament types, each with its own characteristics and strengths.
The assessment process can be offered on-line. Each team member receives a detailed report about their personal style and a team report can be produced that reflects the overall team style based on the contributions of each team member. The MBTI assessment process supports the development of skills in decision-making, conflict-management, planning, stress management, strengthening team interface, and understanding the interpersonal styles of oneself and others.
Exploring the Roar behind Self-Silencing with Person-Centered Expressive Arts
This experiential workshop offers Person-Centered Expressive Arts as a means to explore the “roar and the creative potential” behind self-silencing and suppressed emotions. Meditation, movement, art-making, sound, writing, and witnessing will be offered as a process for the participants to access their own suppressed emotions and garner an understanding of their clients self-silencing. This workshop will enable participants to understand and explore suppressed emotions and in turn utilize these processes to access creative potential with clients in clinical settings.
